I was lucky enough to work with Edwards Family Homes to build my first home. At first I chose them for their great price and amazing inclusions; it truely was a lucky day when I saw that flyer.

After contacting Carl, Annameika and Nikki, I was ecstatic to be able to work with a dynamic, expert team. The entire process was a breeze. Any questions I asked were answered promptly and professionally, and I felt their passion throughout the journey. It was a stress-free experience where I was able to just feel the excitement when watching my home take form.

The design and selections process was amazing, and anything I requested was never too much. Sam and the team were awesome. Sam made sure that every part of my build was completed to his high expectations and ensured that any issue that arose was quickly solved. Everything was completed to the highest custom-home standard, and the compliments I am continuing to receive from guests are a true reflection of this.

The after-care system that Carl and the team have is wonderful. I have no doubt I will be in this home for many years to come. I will forever be thankful for the Edwards Family for making building my first home a remarkably positive experience. I couldn’t recommend their skills, expertise and passion enough - 5 Stars. If I build again, they will be the first people I call.

On time and very flexible

In the first consultation we were impressed with Edwards Building Group. The company’s approach was very genuine and the quality of the show home was very good.

The whole process from beginning to completion was on time and very flexible. Our expectations and requirements were more than fulfilled.

The building was well constructed, above standards, structurally sound with an excellent colour scheme. The way Carl and his staff dealt with the construction process ensured we did not go through any undue stress. We would highly recommend Edwards Building Group for any building work.

Carl Edwards was recommended by a friend. We found visiting the display home to get a sense of what the space would look and feel like was very helpful. It was an enjoyable experience watching the building being constructed.

Any minor concerns were promptly addressed. Carl was particularly helpful and patient when we decided to make changes to the kitchen layout mid-process. We found Carl and his team (trades, design and accounts) professional, flexible and accessible. It was very easy to deal with them throughout the process.

When Edwards Family Homes began building our house, they erected their sign in our front yard with the motto - "a great building experience" - & we can honestly say that we have had exactly that! There are 3 other projects adjacent to ours.

They all started 3 months before us & they are still going, 2 months after we moved in! A regular comment of all who come into our house is, "You have a very beautiful house" as well as "quality finishes", even by a couple of old builders that we know.

We were also impressed that the whole family is involved in the company, & they worked rain, hail or shine & got the job done. We have no hesitation in recommending this building company to anyone, especially in the light that our home became a 'custom build' because of the bushfire restrictions on our block.

Respect, trust and integrity

Our project was quite unique with the parcel of land we had to work with, as such required a custom solution. We approached two local builders for proposals however they were unsuccessful as their submissions only contained their ‘off-the-shelf’ design solutions, which did not fulfil our requirements. The Edwards Building Group team offered both standard designs along with 100% custom solutions. After the first two onsite meetings, I knew we had the right builder in Edwards Building Group to partner with us and make our vision a reality.

The process right from the very first onsite meeting felt comfortable. Carl and his team did not treat us as ‘just another sales opportunity but constantly worked hard in developing a real partnership with us, built on respect, trust and integrity. Our building project was no different to anyone else’s as we encountered unforeseen challenges and opportunities. The responsiveness from the team, combined with the open, transparent and professional communication I experienced from Carl and the team, made working through those challenging situations very straightforward.

From conception through to construction and now ongoing maintenance and support, my expectations have been exceeded in all areas.

Building should be a season of your life that is enjoyable, as you watch your vision become reality, yet the actual experience can end up being quite the opposite. Finding a builder that prides themselves on quality and who is willing to partner with you on your building journey, is crucial to achieving a successful outcome that results in a positive customer experience. It is not about just finding the right builder, it is about finding the right partner who consistently takes into consideration your best interests first.
